But will this eventually evolve and have an impact on effective SEM? Imagine the new metric on analytics ‘Where customers go’ this could give a whole new dimension to analytics and how products and services are advertised. This new data would make rewarding customers who return visit and identifying what people enjoy a whole load easier.
Another dimension when you consider facebook places alongside the domination of smart phones and portable internet could be a whole new division of search marketing. Introducing SPM Smart Phone Marketing, Imagine the possibilities when you know where people are, where they have been and where they could be going. Now throw in mobile searching and a whole new form of SEM could be born? I’m just throwing it out there, but could this be the future of search marketing? What are your thoughts?
