Sarah just joined as our new Client Services Director, so we sat down with her to get to know more about her, her career and what she gets up to outside of work.
My early career in marketing was client-side. One of the agencies I worked with on a Christmas campaign for a hotel offered me a role, so I jumped at the chance and have been agency-side ever since.
Variety – learning about and understanding the different industries and marketing challenges our clients have and being able to help solve them.
A chain of health clubs within one of the world’s leading hospitality brands. I helped the client make the transition to a more digital marketing focus away from traditional, print-based methods of new member acquisition.
Developing this strategy was a big change for the client – they trusted me to do it and it worked.
See above! Also, training and mentoring a team – I love to see team members achieve their goals and personal development.
I loved watching the rebrand of Honchō on social media, and the natural and authentic way that the brand communicates online – very refreshing and different from the ‘norm’. I got in touch and met with Chris and Syed in 2019. So you could say that it was a lengthy interview process!
Always understand the picture from the client’s perspective – what’s keeping them awake at night? Be the voice of the client within the agency and make your client’s lives easier.
I am a keen equestrian and own 3 horses, so I’m always out in the fresh air, rain or shine. I have 2 Jackapoo brothers called Harry and Will, my little princes.
One of my horses is trained to Prix St Georges, an advanced level of dressage which has taken 6 years of management and training. The dream is to train him to Grand Prix – but very few horses are able to make it to this highest level.
Not having to be anywhere at any particular time, and not setting any alarms.
Welcome aboard, Sarah!
