Hello and welcome to the iThinkMedia blog. For those who are unfamiliar with our company we were formed in 2008 and work with a small but exclusive client list. Our priority is to maintain a high level of service with sustained and slow growth rather than take on all the work we can and risk losing our strongest attribute – A proven track record!
Our philosophy is to work alongside our clients with complete transparency. This in turn shows we are trustworthy, honest and most importantly happy to share our knowledge. We offer the full range of Search Marketing services with SEO our core service and speciality. For those not familiar with myself I’m Chris Ailey, the Managing Director of iThinkMedia. I have over 10 years experience in website design and online marketing (particularly SEO) starting agency side back in 1998 before moving into the world of retail at Dixons Stores Group (DSG) where I managed all SEO and PPC for PC World as well as advising on SEO for the group. As I’m a website designer by trade we are much more hands-on than many other agencies and I believe this makes us quite unique. The fact that we can not only recommend on-site changes but design, build and implement enhancements means we are literally an extension of our client’s online teams. From my experience at DSG I worked with some great professionals (many of whom are now also clients) but also experienced what it’s like to work with agencies on large accounts. Generally my experience of agencies wasn’t great I must admit and this showed me how not to do many things. What this experience did teach me though is what a client expects from an agency and that is what our service is based on. I hope we provide some insight into the world of Search Marketing over the coming months and years through our blog and I appreciate you visiting our website.
