Google has a cool new easter egg search feature for the coming new year. To see what it is, open up your browser and go to Google’s homepage, make sure there isn’t anything typed into the search box and click “I’m Feeling Lucky”. You will see big blue numbers counting down, as shown below.
It is a timer counting down to the new year. As of this precise moment, it is currently at 1330994 seconds or about 15 and a half days! I wonder what will happen when the timer reaches “0”? It would be nice to see something occur other than the timer stopping, although I’m sure most people won’t be sat in front of their computers come the new year.
