Junior SEO Account Manager

We're looking for a Junior SEO Account Manager to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about SEO and looking to develop their career in a fast growing and well established agency.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of technical SEO, a superb eye for detail and a love for SEO. They’ll ideally have experience in executing SEO strategies in addition to short-term projects such as keyword research, technical audits and taxonomy projects.

Salary: £30k - £36k 
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: SEO Manager
Location: Hybrid
(3 days in office / 2 days wfh)

As a Junior SEO Account Manager, you will work alongside more experienced SEO specialists to manage retained accounts for our clients that encompasses technical, on-site and content.

The SEO department is supported by dedicated content, digital PR, data and insights and client services teams and we pride ourselves on high quality, forward thinking and successful strategies that help scale our clients overall digital performance.

The successful candidate will have previous SEO experience working either client or agency side with strong analytical skills that is able to produce weekly reporting alongside supporting our client services team to produce monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews. This is a great next step for an SEO Exec looking to make their next career move. 

Key Requirements

 

  • Ability to support and execute SEO strategies.
  • Good Technical and on-site SEO knowledge.
  • Ability to deliver an excellent standard of work whilst meeting deadlines and adhering to strategic briefs within budget and on brand.
  • Maintain the agency’s high client retention rate by developing and fostering long lasting client relationships.
  • Be enthusiastic about SEO, constantly keeping up to date on new trends and techniques and sharing with colleagues.
  • Minimum 1-2 year's SEO experience.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years’ proven track record in a Digital PR role is essential.

  • A positive attitude!

  • Evidence of leading Digital PR creative campaigns that earn high quality links and coverage.

  • Experience working directly with clients.

  • A confident communicator that can articulate plans and provide excellent and professional consultancy with clients.

  • Experience of working with data, with strong analytical skills

  • A good understanding of SEO best practice

  • Experience of using tools such as Buzzstream, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Analytics, Roxhill, Muckrack, Meltwater or similar.

  • Experience in producing pitch presentations.

  • Experience in producing performance reports and presenting them to clients.
